The Pakistani hostage who was released by the Iraqi insurgents has returned home with a message for his President.
Amjad Hafeez has requested President General Pervez Musharraf for an audience, saying that his Iraqi captors passed on some important information to him, which he would like to share with the president.
“I am keeping this information secret from the media,” he told Daily Times only hours after his arrival in Islamabad from Kuwait on Friday. “But I will tell the president everything. I feel my information will help Mr Musharraf understand the situation in Iraq.” [Daily Times]Indeed.
