Benazir’s husband back in jail

YAMM!
This is an archived blog post from The Acorn.

Less than a month after his release from a eight-year jail term (without being actually convicted of any crime), Asif Ali Zardari’s piece just landed on the square that said Go to Jail.

In his recent comments, Musharraf had indicated that Benazir Bhutto was less than forthcoming in participating in his idea of national reconciliation, although she did call off a recent anti-Musharraf rally her party had organised organised in London.

Ironically, Zardari’s bail was cancelled by an anti-terrorist court — while a major terrorist leader was released a few days ago for want of evidence.

President Bush and the US State Department say all this is okay, as long as there are elections in 2007. So why would General Musharraf think otherwise.
